Under normal conditions, 75% of the bodyconsists of of water . Dehydration occurs when the body does not have a sufficient supply of liquid or water. Dehydration can be caused by spending a lot of fluid, not drinking enough, or both. Vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration. In addition, excessive sweating can lead to dehydration.
Symptoms and signs: Symptoms of dehydration include dry mouth, the eyes stop producing tears, muscle cramps, nausea and vomiting.
Treatment: Drink a regular basis. If dehydration due to diarrhea, the diarrhea should be cured.
