Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders or TMJ disorders cause pain in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). TMJ is the joint on each side of the head in front of the ear, where the lower jawbone meets the skull. Joints is possible to talk, chew, and yawn.

TMJ disorders can be caused by various problems, including arthritis, jaw injury, or muscle fatigue. In most cases, the pain and discomfort associated with TMJ disorders can be reduced by his own care or treatment without surgery.

Signs and symptoms of TMJ disorders include:

5. Lock joints, making it difficult to open or close the mouth
6. headache
7. Uncomfortable bite
8. An uneven bite, because one or more teeth are making premature contact

TMJ disorders can also cause a clicking sound when opening or closing the mouth, and chew. But if there is no pain or limitation of movement associated with jaw clicking, then it may not have a TMJ disorder.
